Achieving financial independence is often a challenge for either one or both parties after a break-up. Especially for married couples or non-married cohabitating couples. The combination of two incomes enables many couples to achieve a lifestyle that otherwise would be impossible to achieve alone. Yikes! The very thought of trying to compensate for the lost income is often overwhelming. How do I make ends meet? What happens if I have an emergency? No, I don't have an emergency fund! Hell, what is an emergency fund?

If you find yourself faced with this challenge you may be in luck. Especially if you own a computer, have access to the Internet, and have the ability to communicate effectively via writing. Why not blog for cash? Make extra income by writing about the things you are passionate about. Check out the salary graph above.

By the way, if you didn’t know, a blog is a web site, where you write about whatever you are passionate about on an ongoing basis. Just like "My Thoughts Exactly." The topic can be personal or professional, but it’s completely up to you. Check out http://www.blogger.com/ or http://www.wordpress.com/ for more information.
